Grizzly 399 wasn’t just a bear—she was a mother, a survivor, and a symbol of what’s possible when humans choose coexistence over conflict. For nearly 30 years, she roamed the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, birthed 18 cubs and reminding us that every wild creature has a story worth protecting.
Her legacy lives on—not just in her descendants, but in the movement she inspired.
That’s why I’m donating 100% of all profits to Jackson Hole Bear Solutions, an organization working to prevent human-bear conflicts through education and bear-resistant infrastructure. Because the #1 attractant for bears is human trash—and once bears become food-conditioned, they’re often doomed.
"In 2016 alone, nearly 70% of grizzly deaths were human-caused, many due to preventable encounters." (Jackson Hole Bear Solutions, 2016) We can do better. We must do better.
This isn’t just about bears. It’s about respect—for nature, for life, and for the wild stories still being written.
